We produce fine Devon potted crab using only the very best that Devon has to offer – fresh, locally sourced, traceable and sustainable ingredients. What’s more, we believe it’s important to work with businesses that benefit the local community, so we use only small local suppliers.

With three delicious variations, and a diverse range of ways of serving them, there is something to suit everyone’s palette. The idea for the Potted Fish Co. all started when teenager Jonathan Bailey was wondering what to do with a large brown crab he’d been given from Devon. He and his friend Naomi decided to mix it with butter and a secret blend of spices. They then served it up to his friends who all loved it! The rest, as they say is history. Now in his early twenties, Jonathan continues to develop new, tasty and exciting recipes using locally sourced, sustainable seafood 

We have now launched in Sainsburys with our 'Smoked mackerel' and 'Devon crab' products! You will also soon find fish pie's on the menu plus many more snacks!
